Everyone of us have to make compromises in life, isn’t it?

Some are necessary compromises, like the ones needed to keep a relationship up and running or to keep a job.

Some others are not, because they are opposed to our beliefs and goals.

Some time ago, I accepted a compromise on a course I had to hold which I felt wasn’t right, but I thought “working with them is better than not working”. In hindsight, it’s true I helped many people I wouldn’t have helped otherwise; but the effects of my course could have been bigger and better if I didn’t compromise.

We live, we make mistakes, we learn, and this time my lesson was crystal clear: I won’t compromise anymore in my life if it is against my beliefs (what I know is right and true) and my goals. I will explain a little bit more why I cannot accept a compromise and I will say “no” if needed.
